Whoa! I was surprised by the news of Fidel Castro stepping aside to let his brother, Raul Castro, rule Cuba. Outside of monarchies Castro was the world’s longest sitting leader. Raul has been known to hint towards reform, but I find it guesswork at best to what lies ahead. What an interesting twist to the day.

Yet another tomb has been discovered in Egypt in a town called Minya, south of Cairo. Estimates are that buried in this tomb was Henu, an estate manager, who lived sometime between 2181 and 2050 BC. Henu’s wooden coffin remained intact for some 4000 years! Incredible!
Yes, we are in an international conflict against terrorism. I was thrilled to see KSL report this undertold story, that Americans are fighting terrorism not just in Iraq and Afghanistan, but in places around the globe. Way to go Utah’s 19th Special Force group! Bravo and welcome home!
