I normally try to keep emotion out of the blog, but as of this instant I can no longer refrain…. Chris Cannon is a dweeb. Why? Today many of his constituents received a flyer just before the Primary to try and make a personal slam against Jason Chaffetz regarding his residence. Quoting the flyer:

“How can Jason Chaffetz represent us when he doesn’t live in our district?”

Huh? What does your physical address have to do with the issues facing us in the district? Last time I looked the only address requirement is that Congressional candidates live within the state they intend to represent. Cannon’s vain attempt is a clear demonstration that he is losing ground and is at the door about to be kicked out of office. And not only is he losing support of his constituents, but we learned this morning in another article that Cannon has to pay his “loyal” campaigners just to put up signs. “Fire the Cannon” was a popular slogan a couple years ago and I full-heartedly agree.
