The decision for me has always been between five presidential candidates: Clinton, Huckabee, McCain, Obama, and Romney. I appreciate positions by each of them but surprisingly all five of them have remained to Super Tuesday so the decision has been difficult. Keep in mind that in my position in federal government a vote for Clinton or Obama will almost guarantee a 2 to 3% personal raise every year, while with Romney not only will I likely no longer get a raise (due to air traffic control pay freezes), but it’s likely my duties could essentially be sold off to the lowest bidder (a motion presented by the current President Bush over the last 8 years and actually fulfilled among some controllers). Regardless my conscience tells me the time has come to get off the fence and vote for someone who has everyone’s economics in mind, not my own. And the person I vote for must be a person whom I believe is one of integrity and service. Simply said, I endorse Mitt Romney. I feel he fits the bill. Onward Mitt Romney! As if my voice means anything :)
