Alright, it has finally come to the Florida primaries. It is beyond the obvious that Mr. Giuliani put all of his eggs in one basket and it came out with a 3rd (or perhaps 4th) place finish among Republicans. It’s time to step aside Mr. Giuliani and let us decide between Huckabee, McCain, Paul, and […]

With the so-called demise of the U.S. economic forecast I am optimistic. Whenever the indexes plunge my first reaction is to grimace, knowing that I likely lost some money for the day, but then I realize it is an excellent buying opportunity. Remember Economics 101? Buy low, sell high. Anyway no, I am not a […]

I am depressed this evening upon learning of actor, Heath Ledger’s, passing. I was a fan of his since his roles in The Patriot (2000) and A Knight’s Tale (2001). A sad day to anyone who enjoys cinema. Condolences to Heath’s family.

I added a few more blogs to the blogroll today, most of them generally disagreeing with my point of view. Why did I add them? Because I appreciate a different opinion. It is a different opinion that can break the hard-line stance of some politicians and it is difference of opinion that ultimately brings about […]

The public comment period for the envioronmental impact study (EIS) on the Mountain View Corridor ends in two days, January 24th. If you have not taken any time to review the document you can view it here. The document itself is huge (over 1/2 GB) so if you would prefer a hard copy, the link mentioned […]

The delegate counts in the Democrat and Republican 2008 Presidential race are intruiging to say the least, particularly with the results from Nevada and South Carolina. Take a gander:
Democrat Results at realclearpolitics.com:
Republican Results at realclearpolitics.com:
The drop-out of Republican Duncan Hunter is a step in the right direction, but it seems the Republicans still have some weeding […]

I am amazed that the prior FAA Administrator Marion Blakey has been able to put a ruse over the heads of ATA. Somehow she along with the Secretary of Transportation and other FAA executives have convinced airlines that the primary reason for airline delays is “our nation’s increasingly antiquated air traffic control system” (see ATA’s own […]
