Well, the 2007 Salt Lake city mayoral primary election has come and gone (see KSL’s article). I held my breath to the last moment in high hopes that Mayor Anderson would not run for re-election. Based on the results of the primary, looks like Salt Lake City proper will have to choose between Dave Buhler and Ralph Becker, a very interesting race. Although the mayoral race is not a party-based election, Buhler is a traditional republican, while Becker is a registered Democrat. It will serve interesting over the next two months to see who pulls this off. Good luck gentlemen!
