One of my pet peeves is the fact that our federal and state governments continue widdling down our individual rights. A perfect example of loss of rights is the requirement to wear seat belts. Althought it’s a no-brainer that each of us should be wearing seat belts, for individuals 18 and older this should not be a federal law and we should have the ability to choose for ourselves to wear the belt or not. Bravo to New Hampshire for legislatively deciding to be the only state to continue not requiring the wearing of seat belts! Time for the other 49 to repeal this loss of individual rights.
